Introduction

The practice of creating material, frequently for marketing goals, is known as content writing. Although you might think of blog posts and website landing pages when you think of this concept, it can also refer to any type of material that calls for planning, writing, and editing.

Content creation is a beautiful process for me because it involves a lot of research and creative writing. Creating unique writeups to spread the message about your brand is an illuminating, educative and intuitive process. Every writeup has to be properly scrutinized and understood along with being clear and concise. packing as much information in just a few lines. In cases of long articles, it is important to make sure that articles are free from plagiarism, properly referenced (if necessary) and free of jargon (unless required).

My work process

My work process usually involves a lot of research and articulation of ideas based on the type of content I am writing. I also put myself in the users’ shoes to visualize how they might understand the write-up that has been presented before them. Advertisement writeups are usually short with the key aim of creating a long-lasting impression by using the perfect tagline. Blog posts and social media articles take much longer to create and are usually lengthier depending in the topic being written about. Academic writeups could take weeks or months based on the research that would have to be conducted.

Some frequent categories of writeups which I work on include

  1. Copywriting: Copywriting can be summed up as "salesmanship in print." Copywriting is the use of language to influence readers to do an action, like clicking on an advertisement or making a purchase. It's one of the most crucial components of marketing because of this. Professional copywriting, as you've already noticed, can take various forms, but its goal is always the same: to persuade a target audience to buy a good or service. You undoubtedly need my expertise if you want to market a service that you provide.

  2. Technical Writing: Technical writing is a kind of writing where the author discusses a specific topic that calls for guidance, instruction, or explanation. Compared to other writing genres like creative writing, academic writing, or business writing, this style has a radically distinct goal and set of traits. Technical writing deals with a specific subject and is characterized by clear, simple explanations and/or instructions. It is a quick and effective approach to describing something's operation.

Some examples of technical writeups include:

  3. Social Media Writing: This involves writing specifically for social media platforms. The writeups for each social media platform differ significantly and what works for one, might not work for the other. An example of that is Twitter and Instagram; Twitter as a social media platform majorly uses short texts known as Tweets, while Instagram is an image and video sharing platform. While it is possible to cross over content, most general content will have to be presented separately on both platforms.
