Introduction
Hello, thank you for taking the time to check out my portfolio. Before you scroll through, I would like to give you an introduction to what social media designs are about.
Nowadays, consumers frequently learn about brands for the first time on social media channels. Therefore, creating a strong social media presence begins with establishing a great first impression.
Your brand perception will be impacted by your social media design. Every article you write and upload online tells a story and builds your brand. Assuring that the tale connects with your audience and supports your overall messaging is important.
This is crucial on websites like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook that emphasize visual content. However, you still need to check that your designs are the same across all platforms.
This is where I come in, I make sure that all social media designs properly represent your brand and promote the vision of your brand

Work Process
- Discussion and Gathering Requirements: Prior to starting a social media design, I will start with this. I interact and converse with the client and other relevant parties. During this time, I also compile the relevant materials, some of which include;
- Brand Identity Documents
- Content Writeups
- Market Analysis
- Website and other external links
- Research: The next step is to make extensive research on the brand and the target audience intended. Some of the questions I ask when making research include;
- What kind of message is the brand trying to pass across?
- Who is the target audience?
- How competitive is the market space?
- Who are the current competitors?
- What is the current social media demographics of the brand?
- Inspirations: In order to acquire design ideas, I peruse well-known design websites like Behance, Dribbble, Instagram, and others. I also look at what the opposition is doing because it might be vital to incorporate their strategies.
- Sketching: I make rough sketches of the layout of each social media design
- Final Design: I begin the final design by making sure the brand colours and image representations are well pronounced. Each design is created thoughtfully with the brand identity and message in mind.
- Feedback and Review: This is the final step in my design process. I receive reviews and feedback about the designs and make corrections and adjustments if necessary. After that, the design can be posted and shared
Tools Used
For my design process, I usually use the following tools;
- NOTION: I use notion majorly for documenting the contents sent for designs. That way the contents are organized and can be easily accessed. Also, the collaborative workspace on Notion allows for real-time edits by the content writer along with comments and feedback
